AC Responds to the Wonderland Incident
Community member nofkgclue:
Why did you decide to collaborate with Wonderland founder Daniele Sestagalli? The Ponzi scheme nature of the hype is unsustainable, and many people will eventually lose money, you must be aware of this, right?
Why did you suddenly leave Solidly? Many people believed in you and considered Fantom as the top public chain because of it, aren't you aware of the impact it might have on them?
The only thing Quantum Fintech Group founder Harry Yeh seems to do is harm the crypto community, what is your relationship with Harry?
AC's response:
After facing significant backlash following the Eminence project hack, the main criticism was that "I don't care about users." Danielle has successfully built a strong community, and after conversations, I also believe he genuinely cares about the community and users, some pointed out that I lack this element. However, as you mentioned, Wonderland is not sustainable, so I never got involved with Wonderland. In fact, if it weren't for the 0xSifu incident, I would have had no problem continuing to work with Danielle.
I thought I was clear about my stance on Solidly, but in hindsight, I should have emphasized it more. Solidly is immutable, the code cannot be updated, and there was nothing for me to do, so once it was deployed, I left. That was my mistake, and now I am trying to spend more time on the discussion aspect.
- There is no relationship between Harry Yeh and me. I have only met him once at a summit, he is not a member of the foundation, nor a core contributor.
Thank you for these questions, I believe discussing unpleasant things will lead to improvement and learning.
