Yearn founder Andre Cronje (AC) has developed the latest protocol "Solidly" on Fantom, and the initial token airdrop snapshot was completed on the 23rd. The vampire battle between veDAO and 0xDAO has come to an end. Initially, 20 protocols were expected to receive the veNFT airdrop, but now the number has been increased to 25.

Solidly veNFT Airdrop

AC released an article in early January about ve3,3, mentioning the top 20 protocols on the Fantom chain in terms of TVL, eligible for a token airdrop from a new protocol. This sparked a war between veDAO and 0xDAO, competing for higher TVL. The airdrop snapshot has now ended, with veDAO and 0xDAO ranking second and fifth, respectively, at the time of the snapshot. The number of protocols expected to receive the airdrop has been increased to 25.

Solidly's token airdrop is distributed in the form of NFTs called veNFT. Protocols holding veNFT will receive weekly airdrops of Solidly's governance token ROCK based on their holding proportion. Additionally, AC mentioned in an article that protocols receiving veNFT will be allocated 25% of Solidly's total token supply, with the percentage remaining fixed.

The Solidly contract code can currently be viewed on Github, and the selected protocols can establish initial pools through the contract and earn more token rewards by voting for supported pools, similar to Curve's veCRV voting mechanism. Once everything is ready and the final code review is completed, Solidly will be officially deployed on the Fantom mainnet.
