DAO concept goes mainstream! Which DAOs are worth paying attention to in 2022?

We should remember: Don't ask what your DAO can do for you, ask what you can do for your DAO.

This article is authorized reprint from BlockBeats, the original title is "Which DAOs are Worth Watching in 2022?", original article can be found here.

In the past few months, we have seen the flourishing development of DAOs. However, what we need to keep up with now is not just all the great organizations, but also a lot of amazing research and experiments related to practical use of DAOs, among which Moloch V3 is particularly worth noting.

Furthermore, Orca Protocol's comprehensive article "DAOs Wrapped 2021" is also very worth reading. Without further ado, here are some of the DAO organizations that I am currently tracking, find interesting, and am most looking forward to next year.

The most notable DAO in 2022 is not Constitution DAO, despite the extensive media coverage it received this year. In fact, we should pay more attention to Juicebox Protocol, which operates on the same platform where Constitution DAO once rapidly raised a large amount of funds. Kickstarter before this was really quite ordinary, and Juicebox is what I consider a more excellent choice.

Additionally, I will pay special attention to some "service-oriented DAOs." Raid Guild is the first service-oriented DAO organization, which issued the RAID Token this year and built dozens of applications for clients and within the organization. I believe Raid Guild will launch more attractive products in 2022, benefiting both clients and the organization. 2022 will be a year of explosion for "service-oriented DAOs". Apart from Raid Guild, I will also keep an eye on Vector DAO, which provides services for designers. As we all know, many DeFi protocols are in great need of help in user experience...

Padawan DAO continuously sends students to participate in Hackathon events, consistently cultivating young product development talents. I can't think of a better ecosystem investment model than this. I predict that next year, hundreds of young people will start building the next generation of influential DApps through this DAO.

The Meta Factory launched the ROBOT DAO later this year. Currently, we urgently need DAOs that use encryption technology to build products in the real world, which can inspire more ordinary people to understand and pay attention to this field. I believe Meta Factory will lead the trend of streetwear in 2022.

Hero DAO also offers physical products, a community-owned superhero IP, and has published a series of comics. They have also issued tokens, but currently have no liquidity, which I find very worth paying attention to.

There are currently some DAOs experimenting with running cities, among which I am most interested in Creator Cabins. It is distributed in multiple locations, and its members are exporting real products. Remember, any successful city will have product exports.

Bankless DAO is also a DAO that must be watched. This is a very interesting experiment: can a media brand reward its consumers and generate greater impact as a DAO organization? The answer is yes. This organization has matured a lot, and I believe we may soon see unexpected products from Bankless. Additionally, Bankless DAO has designed a very good roadmap for content creators to build a community, which is expected to become a model for many other DAO organizations in 2022. Media DAO is an important part of my 2022 watchlist.

I hope that next year Lex DAO can raise its standards. DAO organizations in various fields currently urgently need legal framework support involving ownership, fundraising, and other real-world affairs, and Lex DAO should become the preferred legal engineering DAO, so it's time to step up.

Meta Gamma Delta is a powerful fraternity DAO that provides education and crypto technology. They have just raised $1 million from a variety of different DAOs to expand their mission.

OlympusDAO goes without saying. It has countless forks, which cannot be fully covered here. I believe the most noteworthy top OHM fork is Diatom DAO, and while I am not the biggest fan of Klima DAO, I am genuinely curious if the "Ponzi scheme" of DeFi 2.0 can really save the world.

These are some of the DAO organizations that I am currently most interested in. I deliberately omitted some DeFi protocol DAOs and airdrop DAOs because I am more concerned about the vision and individuals of the organizations rather than money. Remember: don't ask what your DAO can do for you, ask what you can do for your DAO.
