140,000 BTC Unclaimed: Mt. Gox Creditors' Repayment Deadline Delayed by Another Year
Previously reported, sources indicated that Mt.Gox creditors were expected to receive partial compensation in BTC in the fourth quarter of this year, but the civil trustee has once again extended the repayment deadline for creditors by a full year.

Mt. Gox Extends Repayment Deadline
According to legal documents, Nobuaki Kobayashi, the civil rehabilitation trustee of Mt. Gox, has obtained permission from the Tokyo District Court to extend the repayment deadline for creditors from October 31, 2023, to October 31, 2024.
Both the basic repayment, early lump-sum repayment, and midterm repayment have been extended. However, the documents also mention that for Rehabilitation Creditors who have submitted the necessary information, repayments will be made in order starting from the end of this year, with the specific timing yet to be determined.
Mt. Gox Creditors Inquiry
The documents also refer to the online claim filing system, where users can click on the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) in the upper right corner to request inquiry forms.
The documents emphasize conducting inquiries after logging in whenever possible, as it may be difficult to verify the identity of creditors without doing so.
