Bitget to Host Taiwan

Bitget, an exchange platform known for copy trading, held its first offline event in Taiwan on the 13th of this month. At the event, Bitget's business manager Victor shared his rich experience with users and addressed their questions about using Bitget. Additionally, two well-known traders shared their bear market investment strategies, providing users with insights on maintaining a healthy mindset during trading.

From Traditional Finance to Web3: Why is the Cryptocurrency Market Attracting Professional Investors?

Victor, with extensive experience in private banking financial management and professional trading, shared his mindset shift from traditional finance to working in the cryptocurrency industry at the beginning of the event with the community.

Victor believes that for someone who loves trading, the cryptocurrency market is very attractive. With the development of Web3 in various fields such as NFTs, DeFi, and GameFi, cryptocurrencies as a trading medium play an indispensable role. Additionally, the 24/7 market allows traders to participate at their own pace, not only making money but also managing time well and maintaining a good quality of life.

"Even if you are not investing in this market, as a trader, you must pay attention to it," Victor said.

Next, Victor reflected on his experience in private banking, where he felt that the investment advice given to clients when allocating assets was not always the best, but rather based on company requirements. However, the reason he chose to join Bitget last year was because Victor discovered Bitget's determination to create a good trading platform for users, continuously optimize copy-trading features, and his strong belief in the Web3 industry.

However, for an exchange to continue to grow, gaining long-term user support is also a key factor. At this first offline event in Taiwan, Victor expressed his gratitude for the criticism and feedback from users over the past year, promising not to disappoint users in the future:

"Better trading, better life has always been what we pursue, and in the coming year, Bitget will continue to provide better services and platforms for our users."

Facing Community Q&A: Listening to Users' Questions and Concerns

After Victor's sharing session, the event shifted its focus to Bitget users. What doubts did users have about Bitget over the past year, and what issues need to be addressed?

First, a user questioned Bitget's invitation code system. In this age where everyone can become a self-media, the quality of KOLs and copy-trading community leaders varies. How can Bitget select excellent talents, protect user assets, and promote community growth?

In response, Victor stated that Bitget primarily focuses on selecting KOLs based on the help they can provide to the community, such as having deep trading experience or being good at aggregating information from various sources. Any misconduct will be dealt with promptly, and efforts will be made to enhance overall quality through education and training to provide users with a better community experience.

Next, a user who shared their trading experience on Bitget asked, "How can one determine if they are suitable to become a full-time trader?"

With extensive trading experience, Victor provided insightful answers to this question. He believes there are two key points: first, having sufficient assets to make effective allocations and knowing how much loss is acceptable for the potential profit; second, having a well-functioning trading system and mechanism to adjust promptly to market changes.

After addressing questions about the system and trading, the last user inquired about regulatory issues. In 2023, Bitget's Managing Director, Gracy Chen, referred to it as the "Regulatory Year." So, what is Bitget's legal position in Taiwan, and what regulatory plans does Bitget have for the future in Taiwan?

Victor mentioned that currently, Taiwan does not have a regulatory authority overseeing cryptocurrencies. However, Bitget is committed to compliance and will follow regulatory developments to obtain compliance licenses. There is also a possibility of establishing a physical office in Taiwan to serve users.

After the main interaction with users, Bitget arranged many fun activities at the offline event. Attendees not only had food and entertainment but also took home gifts and new knowledge.

The event invited two well-known traders to share their investment strategies and trading logic during bear markets, as well as prepared a modified version of the "Avalon" game for users to get to know each other, allowing traders to have new friends to accompany them on their trading journey.
