CoinEX hacked and updated: $43 million loss, CoinEX isolates wallets, calls for cooperation from peers
The online security firm PeckShield has reported that CoinEX was hacked for approximately $43 million, but the specific amount affected and the reason for the hack are still pending CoinEX's incident report.

CoinEX Hot Wallet Transfers Large Amount of Assets
The cryptocurrency exchange CoinEX saw a significant amount of assets being transferred from its hot wallet on the evening of September 12th, with a value exceeding 30 million US dollars, including assets on Ethereum, TRON, and Polygon blockchains.
At that time, CoinEX officials stated that they were still investigating and ensuring the security of the funds, and would release a statement as soon as possible.
In the early hours of the 13th, CoinEX further confirmed the security incident, stating that the specific amount of losses is still being evaluated, but emphasizing that the affected funds only account for a small portion of CoinEX's total assets.

According to PeckShield's statistics, approximately 43 million US dollars were stolen, including:
ETH Chain: 19 million US dollars
TRON Chain: 11 million US dollars
Bitcoin Chain: 6 million US dollars
BNB Chain: 6.4 million US dollars
Polygon: approximately 295,000 US dollars

CoinEX Isolates Wallets and Calls for Cooperation Among Exchanges
In another tweet in the early morning, CoinEX stated that they have isolated suspicious wallets related to the hackers and called on other exchanges to remain vigilant. If any abnormal activity is detected from the listed addresses, they are requested to inform CoinEX.
CoinEX has not provided further details on the specific amount of losses.
