Some of the New York Yankees' employees' salaries can be converted to Bitcoin! Join the NYDIG Bitcoin savings plan.

The Bitcoin financial services company NYDIG has partnered with the Major League Baseball (MLB) team New York Yankees to become the official Bitcoin payroll platform for the team. Employees of the New York Yankees will now have the option to participate in NYDIG's Bitcoin savings plan, offering them a more diverse range of salary choices.

Salary Conversion to Bitcoin

According to an announcement released by NYDIG, the Bitcoin savings plan of NYDIG will allow employees of the New York Yankees to convert a portion of their post-tax salary into Bitcoin through its platform, without incurring any transaction fees or storage costs.

However, employees will not be able to withdraw assets from the platform or receive Bitcoin from external sources, and can only sell Bitcoin within the platform.

In response to this, Aryn Sobo, Vice President of Human Resources at the New York Yankees, stated:

"We have been looking for innovative ways to expand and enhance our employee experience. NYDIG can easily incorporate Bitcoin into our employee benefits, and we look forward to providing this opportunity to our employees through the NYDIG platform."

Kelly Brewster, Chief Marketing Officer at NYDIG, also mentioned that converting a portion of salary into Bitcoin may be the most efficient way to accumulate Bitcoin. By using dollar-cost averaging, it can help eliminate the impact of price volatility along the way.
