Removal of Staking Limits
As EigenLayer's Phase Three approaches, the team will be removing the staking limits on individual staking pools next week, no longer restricting each pool to a quantity of 200,000 tokens.
How will the staking project EigenLayer change the Web3 infrastructure ecosystem?
Diversification of Assets Ensured through Incentives
To ensure liquidity is spread across a diverse range of staked assets as much as possible, enhancing the decentralization of the ecosystem, a new scoring method will be introduced in the future. Each pool will only be eligible for a maximum of 33% of the scoring rewards, economically encouraging users to deposit a diverse range of assets.
Acceptance of New Assets
The EigenLayer protocol will now accept three new liquidity staking tokens, namely sfrxETH, mETH, and LsETH.
Deposit Timeframe
Similarly, there will be fixed periods for users to make deposits. The deposit opening time for this round has been postponed by a week and will be available from 3:00 AM Taiwan Time on February 6 to 3:00 AM on February 10, after which deposits will be temporarily suspended.
