Polygon joins Disney Accelerator program! Multiple Web3 companies selected, focusing on AR, NFT, and AI fields

Walt Disney announced on the 13th that it will include six companies in its 2022 accelerator program, which aims to promote the business development of global startups. The selected companies for this program focus on the areas of AR, NFT, and AI.

2022 Disney Accelerator Selected Companies

1. Flickplay

Flickplay is a Web3 social app where users can create AR augmented reality videos using their NFTs after connecting their wallets.

2. Inworld

Inworld is a development platform that creates AI-driven interactive virtual characters used in various metaverses, games, and virtual worlds, aiming to provide immersive experiences.

3. Lockerverse

Lockerverse is a Web3 platform that allows creators and brands to tell stories about their cultural heritage and offers unique access experiences.

4. Obsess

Obsess is an experiential e-commerce platform that enables brands to create immersive 3D virtual stores on their websites and metaverse platforms, with clients including Coach, Fendi, AT&T, and other well-known brands.

5. Polygon

Polygon is a scalable blockchain network that allows developers and businesses to build Web3 experiences on it, serving as one of the most widely used Ethereum scaling solutions currently.

6. Red 6

Red 6 is an AR company focused on global air combat training systems that operate in outdoor and high-speed dynamic environments, achieving technological breakthroughs in air combat simulation training.

The above six companies will receive guidance from Disney's senior leadership team through the accelerator program, potentially leading to the adoption of these companies' technologies by Disney in both the real and virtual worlds.
