Now, you can officially use Bitcoin for payment on Tesla's official website, as Musk also promoted this news on Twitter.

"You can now buy a Tesla with Bitcoin."

Musk even stated that Tesla will only use internal, open-source software to operate Bitcoin nodes and any Bitcoin paid to Tesla will be kept in Bitcoin form, not converted to fiat currency.

He further mentioned that apart from the US, the global availability for paying with Bitcoin will be enabled later this year.
