Dubai International Public Schools to accept Bitcoin and Ethereum for tuition fees, with plans to gradually integrate blockchain technology into administrative operations in the future.

The Dubai news media "Arab Business" reported that Citizens School in Dubai will accept tuition fees in Bitcoin or Ethereum. Regardless of which cryptocurrency is used for payment, it will be converted to the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) through a platform. Citizens School stated that they will gradually integrate blockchain technology into academic and administrative operations in the future.

The United Arab Emirates has taken the lead in digital assets in the Middle East, with Dubai, one of the seven emirates of the UAE, implementing various measures to support local cryptocurrency development and regulations. Both Binance and FTX have recently obtained operational licenses in Dubai.

Furthermore, the regulatory body in Abu Dhabi, the largest emirate in the UAE, is introducing drafts related to non-fungible tokens.
