Golden State Warriors Team partners with FTX to become the official crypto and NFT platform

The Golden State Warriors and FTX announced a partnership on the 14th, with FTX becoming the official cryptocurrency exchange and "NFT marketplace" of the Warriors. To commemorate the partnership, FTX and the Warriors will donate 3 bitcoins to three non-profit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Commemorating the Partnership, 3 BTC to be Donated to Charity Organizations

To commemorate the partnership, the Golden State Warriors and FTX will donate three bitcoins to three non-profit organizations that have made significant contributions in the field of "educational equity," with each non-profit receiving one bitcoin. The three organizations are Self-eSTEM, Mission Bit, and Techbridge Girls.

Self-eSTEM focuses on providing education to girls and young women in the community, covering areas such as culture, leadership, and other technologies; Mission Bit offers free programming courses, workshops, and summer training camps for high school students in the Bay Area to teach and experience the tech industry, enabling these students to unleash their potential; Techbridge Girls has redesigned STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) to provide BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) girls with the opportunity to experience these courses.

The Golden State Warriors and FTX share a common core value of giving back to the community. Since the establishment of the Warriors Community Foundation in 2012, their impact on education has totaled over $25 million, including $15 million in cash donations.

Regarding this partnership, Brett Harrison, President of FTX.US, stated:
"Our previous collaboration with Stephen Curry gave us the opportunity to connect with the Warriors. Our core values align closely, so we are thrilled to collaborate. FTX.US's NFT platform will provide a secure trading venue for the Warriors' international fan base. In addition to launching NFTs, we are actively developing innovations and introducing new services for this collaboration with one of the most renowned teams globally, whether domestically in the U.S. or internationally."

Finally, this collaboration extends beyond the Golden State Warriors.

FTX will feature its logo on the basketball pads at the Santa Cruz Warriors' home court in the NBA G League, and the FTX logo will also be visible on the broadcast table. Furthermore, in the popular NBA 2K video game series, FTX will display its logo on the Warriors' court.

During the live broadcasts of another esports organization, the Golden Guardians, more elements will be incorporated, including the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), Nintendo Super Smash Bros., and World of Warcraft.
