The U.S. compliance exchange FTX.US announced a partnership with the U.S.-based private jet charter broker Stratos Jets Charters Inc. on the 21st. U.S. customers of Stratos Jets can now use FTX Pay to make payments in cryptocurrency or fiat currency.

Founded in 2006, Stratos Jets is headquartered in Orlando, Florida. For nearly two decades, it has been providing private jet services to customers in the U.S. and around the world, offering top-notch service, safe private jet travel, as well as restaurant and hotel reservation services.

According to theirwebsite, in addition to private jet services, Stratos Jets also provides air cargo transportation, medical air transport, and even financing for purchasing private airports and aircraft.

FTX Pay is a service launched by FTX in May this year. Compared to traditional credit card payments, FTX Pay allows companies to accept payments in cryptocurrency or fiat currency through a fast process.

Brett Harrison, President of FTX.US, stated:

"The creation of FTX Pay is to provide companies with a fast, secure, and cost-effective way to accept any type of currency payment. Stratos puts 'user experience' first, so we are excited to provide them with assistance through the FTX Pay platform to enhance the leading private jet charter company's user experience and promote the application of digital assets, which is very exciting."

According to the press release, Stratos Jets can choose which cryptocurrencies/fiat currencies to accept. More importantly, for customers using FTX Pay, Stratos Jets will only charge a 1.5% handling fee, which is much cheaper than the traditional 4% credit card fee.

Joel Thomas, CEO of Stratos Jets, mentioned that their online booking platform, Stratos Marketplace, wants to add cryptocurrency services, and FTX.US is the ideal partner because FTX offers more features than other mainstream exchanges in the U.S. and meets security standards. With the integration of FTX Pay, users can easily estimate and pay for charter flights with just a few clicks.

Joel Thomas said:

"Currently, there is a high demand for private jets, so Stratos is looking for a safer and more efficient way to ensure that users pay for their scheduled trips. We believe that accepting cryptocurrency as a payment method will greatly reduce our risk, as credit card risks can sometimes be higher. The reason for choosing FTX Pay is its comprehensive functionality, simple interface, and seamless integration into our interface."
