The large language model ChatGPT developed by OpenAI recently launched a customizable language model called "My GPT", where subscribed users can set up and train their own GPT by providing data. Currently, there are many interesting customized GPT models developed by individuals online.

According to ChatGPT's own introduction, "My GPT" refers to a customized version of the GPT generative pre-trained transformer, which is an AI proficient in understanding and generating human-like text. For example, if you are interested in fashion, your GPT can be designed to provide style suggestions, discuss fashion trends, or even help design clothing. The concept is to create a unique AI companion tailored to your interests and needs.

OpenAI's "My GPT": GPT Builder Guides You to Create Your Own GPT

In the paid subscription feature of ChatGPT, a new "Explore" page has been added, where users can create GPTs for specific purposes, known as the "My GPT" feature.

When creating a "My GPT", there is a "GPT Builder" to assist users in making GPTs tailored to their needs, such as creating a visual GPT for a new product or a GPT to help software engineers with coding.

As users describe their ideas to the "GPT Builder", it continuously refines your requirements and asks if adjustments are needed, including adding rules or limitations. You can continually "train" your GPT. It can even generate icons that match the description of this GPT.

On the "Configure" page, you can set up your "My GPT" by naming, describing, providing instructions, and enabling different starting prompts:

In "Configure," there are also configuration capabilities, including web browsing, DALL·E image creation, and a code interpreter that can run code. You can also upload data files to this GPT for use in its database. Some have discovered that certain GPTs may potentially reveal created prompts, and if confidential data is uploaded, there may be a risk of exposure and duplication, but there are designated references for defense.
