Features of Nvidia's A40 GPU in Image Processing
Claimed to be the most powerful visual computing GPU in the world, built on Nvidia Ampere architecture with CUDA cores, capable of accelerating graphics processing and editing tasks, simplifying complex image workflows, and suitable for use with 3D graphics software and other sophisticated image processing applications. Connecting two A40 GPUs can expand the GPU memory from 48GB to 96GB. The GPU-to-GPU link offers a single expanded memory for accelerated graphics processing, reducing workloads and handling massive amounts of data analysis. It provides super memory specifically designed for data scientists, engineers, and creatives, significantly boosting rendering speeds and simulation workflow efficiency, capable of handling complex 3D computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE).
The fourth-generation PCI Express Gen 4 doubles the bandwidth, accelerating data transfer speeds between the CPU and memory, suitable for applications such as artificial intelligence databases and 3D design, offering ray tracing rendering, simulation, virtual production tasks, and deploying next-generation virtual workstations and server systems.
