Jump Crypto: Reviewing Binance Chain's Hybrid Technology is Not Easy
Jump Crypto stated that the technical structure of BNB Chain is somewhat different. It consists of two blockchains, one being the EVM-compatible BSC smart contract chain based on a forked version of go-ethereum, and the other being the Beacon Chain BC composed of Tendermint and Cosmos SDK.
However, the Beacon Chain of BNB Chain does not have the upstream version of Cosmos SDK but instead uses a forked version with Binance Chain characteristics. This has led to many variations from the upstream version of Cosmos SDK, requiring extra caution during the review process.
