According to AptoScan data, the Move language-based public chain Aptos has not produced any new blocks for over 4 hours, and the reason for this issue is currently unclear.

After nearly 5 hours of downtime, Aptos is now back up and running. The exact reason for the shutdown is still pending an official explanation.
