Steaker user data leaked? Ransom of 1,000 ETH demanded! Steaker: Platform not hacked
The Taiwan financial platform Steaker was affected by the bankruptcy restructuring of FTX, resulting in the loss of $10.67 million equivalent tokens of user assets. Amidst the current operational challenges faced by the platform, reports emerged that user data had fallen into malicious hands, with demands for a hefty ransom from Steaker.

Steaker User Data Suspected to Have Been Leaked
According to the transaction record on Etherscan, the Ethereum address 0xefa... sent a chain message to the Steaker address yesterday afternoon.
The message claimed to have obtained all user data of Steaker and demanded a ransom of 1,000 ETH to be paid by 11/27 UTC+0, threatening to disclose all user data if not paid by 11/28 UTC+0.
"We guarantee data deletion once the payment is made," the message stated.
Steaker Issues Response
In response to this incident, the official statement from Steaker has just been released here, clarifying the situation.
"The Steaker platform has not been hacked. Some of the information claimed is inaccurate or even non-existent," stated the official response from Steaker.
