"Binance Italy" has registered with the Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM) as an agent and mediator institution on May 27, providing cryptocurrency services in compliance with Italian crypto asset regulations.

Binance Italy is a corporate entity established by Binance in Italy in recent months to offer crypto products to Italian customers, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Last July, Italy blocked Binance from offering services to its users, citing the exchange's lack of authorization to provide investment services and activities. The statement also prohibited Binance from access to Italian visitors on its website.

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, CZ, stated, "Clear and effective regulation is crucial for the mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies. We appreciate the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance and OAM for maintaining complete transparency in defining and regulating local operations. Binance always prioritizes users and through measures such as registrations completed in multiple countries and regions, users can trust us as one of the safest and most reliable platforms in the world." Prior to this, Binance registered as a "digital asset service provider" in France in early May 2022 and obtained operating licenses in Bahrain and Dubai.
