MicroStrategy's Twitter account hacked, tweet about MSTR coin release, hackers make off with around $440,000
Software development company and long-term Bitcoin holder MicroStrategy's Twitter account was reportedly hacked, posting several phishing links for the coin MSTR on the morning of the 26th. Cryptocurrency detective ZachXBT noted that the hackers made off with approximately $440,000.

MicroStrategy announced in a phishing notice that it will issue an Ethereum ERC20 token called MSTR, which will be integrated into the MicroStrategy ecosystem and backed by Bitcoin reserves.

Hackers Make Off with $440,000
Cryptocurrency detective ZachXBT pointed out that hackers made off with approximately $440,000.
As of the deadline, the hacker's address still holds 62 ETH.
Renowned KOL Cobie believes this scam is full of loopholes, stating:
I don't want to blame the victims, but if you think that after Michael Saylor has emphasized for years phrases like "there is no better asset" and "no other choice," MicroStrategy would still choose to launch an ETH token, your thinking is quite unique.
