The Securities Commission of The Bahamas has approved on 11/18 the guidance for FTX to transfer a portion of assets and retain them in custody with the custodian FireBlocks wallet. On 11/22, the Securities Commission of The Bahamas stated that FTX Digital Markets (referred to as FDM) should bear the fees for the Bahamian government's custody of assets, as well as other administrative expenses to ensure the interests of users and creditors.

FTX Japan Expected to Resume Withdrawals by Year End

FTX Japan, established as an independent entity under regulation, was required by the Japanese Financial Services Agency to segregate user funds from the outset, thus insulating it from the impact of FTX's fund misappropriation. Accounts remain intact, and the subsidiary is expected to resume withdrawals by the end of this year.
