Attempted to interfere with multiple witnesses! SBF's bail revoked, will be detained until trial in October
SBF, who faced multiple accusations due to the bankruptcy of FTX, was granted bail with a bond of 250 million U.S. dollars at the end of last year. However, SBF, who had been residing at his parents' home for some time, had his bail revoked by a judge on Friday (11) for violating the bail conditions, and is currently detained.

SBF Bail Revoked
According to a report by Coindesk, the U.S. Department of Justice has accused SBF of attempting to interfere with multiple witnesses, violating the conditions of his bail. Judge Lewis Kaplan of the Southern District of New York federal court revoked SBF's bail during a hearing this Friday, indicating that SBF will be detained until his trial in October.
The Department of Justice stated that SBF contacted former FTX.US general counsel Ryne Miller and used a VPN to watch the Super Bowl. While these actions alone were sufficient to modify SBF's bail conditions, the most significant event was SBF sharing parts of the private diary of former Alameda Research CEO with The New York Times.
"In sum, there is ample reason to believe the defendant has at least attempted to interfere with witnesses on two occasions. There is a rebuttable presumption that no condition or combination of conditions will assure the safety of the community if SBF is released," the judge stated.
While SBF's defense team argued that his detention would make trial preparation more difficult, prosecutor Danielle Sassoon argued that SBF's increasing presence in New York for pretrial meetings and trial preparation justified his detention. The judge also rejected SBF's lawyer's request to stay the revocation.
Currently, SBF has been detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, and his lawyers have unsurprisingly filed a notice of appeal.
