The "Taiwan Virtual Asset Platform and Trading Business Association Preparatory Office" has officially launched! At the meeting, industry participants reached a consensus that in the first phase, nine domestic exchange operators will submit applications to the Ministry of the Interior to establish the "Taiwan Virtual Asset Platform and Trading Business (VASP) Association." They have also invited the Chairman of the Taiwan FinTech Association, Yuling Tsai, to serve as the chief consultant.

What is the role of the Taiwan Industry Association Preparatory Office?
It is claimed that the preparatory office will play an important role in communication and coordination, upholding the principles of neutrality, transparency, openness, and fairness, assisting domestic virtual currency operators in establishing a credible industry association, and continuing to negotiate and cooperate with the government, regulatory agencies, industries, and relevant stakeholders to create a mutually beneficial development environment.

Each corporate member pays a fee of NT$100,000 in full as the office's membership fee:
