MEXC Receives Warning from German Financial Regulator
According to a notice issued by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority BaFin on October 17, it claims that MEXC has been providing financial services without authorization, violating relevant regulations under the Banking Act.
BaFin stated:
Only with the approval of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority can financial services be provided in Germany. However, some companies provide such services without the necessary authorization.
BaFin recommends checking the official database to confirm whether a specific institution has been approved in Germany.
MEXC has not responded to this news.
