The Mayor of Jackson, Tennessee, Scott Conger, tweeted on the 22nd saying that as the Federal Reserve continues to print money, the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise, "Bitcoin is definitely the future monetary system."
It is well known that Scott Conger, like Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, is also an active promoter of Bitcoin, and a staunch Bitcoin supporter.
Bitcoin price surged above $50,000 on Monday, reaching a three-month high. Scott Conger excitedly explained the relationship between Bitcoin and the Federal Reserve's money printing, and is optimistic about Bitcoin becoming the mainstream monetary system in the future.

At the time of Scott Conger's tweet, the price of Bitcoin was $49,626.81. The current price of Bitcoin is $48,874.39.
Starting in April this year, Scott Conger began incorporating Bitcoin into the city's operations, planning not only to pay employees' salaries in Bitcoin but also to add Bitcoin mining operations to the city's balance sheet. In July, he tweeted that the city of Jackson's blockchain working group is studying how the city could accept Bitcoin for property taxes and allow employees to pay insurance (DCA) in Bitcoin.
He has repeatedly mentioned inflation, stating that he no longer accepts any inflationary pressures and the constantly increasing carbon footprint.
There are not many cities actively promoting the use of Bitcoin. In addition to Scott Conger and Francis Suarez actively advocating for the circulation of Bitcoin, the Mayor of Cool Valley, a small town in central western Missouri, Jayson Stewart, has announced plans to distribute $1,000 in Bitcoin to each of the town's 1,500 residents. He is currently raising funds for this project and residents who receive Bitcoin are not allowed to sell it for 5 years.
