The host of the U.S. financial TV show "Mad Money," Jim Cramer, publicly announced that he had sold all his Bitcoin, but revealed in an interview on Monday that he had returned to embrace Ethereum, stating, "I like Ethereum because people actually use it to buy things."

Jim Cramer Prefers Ethereum Over Bitcoin

Jim Cramer, host of CNBC's "Mad Money" and former hedge fund manager on Wall Street, previously revealed that he sold all of his Bitcoin due to "China's crackdown on Bitcoin mining" and concerns about Bitcoin's involvement in ransomware attacks.

However, in a subsequent interview, Jim Cramer stated that he would consider buying again if the price of Bitcoin drops to $10,000. Yet, Bitcoin recently hit a low of $28,800 before rebounding and stabilizing around the key $30,000 level.

Yesterday, during an interview on his show "Mad Money," when asked if he would buy back Bitcoin at $30,000, Jim Cramer revealed that Bitcoin had stabilized at $30,000, so he has re-entered the market, but this time choosing Ethereum, explaining:

"I like Ethereum because people actually use it to buy things. I will continue to buy Ethereum. I think it has more use cases because when you go to buy things like NFTs, everyone wants to pay with Ethereum. It's more of a currency."
