Changpeng Zhao (CZ) accuses Dr. Doom: Shamelessly using Binance trademark to issue tokens

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) suddenly accused Dr. Nouriel Roubini on social media, alleging that Roubini's participation in the 2022 digital currency project, The Atlas Climate Token, had unauthorizedly used Binance's trademark.

Zhao Changpeng, also known as CZ, stated that some people are shameless. After publicly criticizing Binance for a year, they are now using the Binance trademark on their website while issuing tokens.

Dr. Doom Issuing Tokens?

Dr. Nouriel Roubini has participated in The Atlas Climate Token digital currency project in 2022. This project aims to develop a set of financial products, including a tokenized asset, to serve as a more flexible alternative to the dollar in the face of higher inflation, climate change, and civil unrest.

This token is composed of real-world assets with liquidity, such as climate-adaptive real estate investment trusts, strategic commodities, inflation-hedging sovereign bonds, and gold.

Unlike common tokens in the crypto industry, The Atlas Climate Token initially planned to launch an index, followed by the introduction of ETFs and token issuance. It seems that this project has not materialized.
