Stripe announced the launch of cryptocurrency payment services in March last year, but it is currently unclear whether encrypted payments will be supported when purchasing Twitter Coins or if it will be limited to fiat currency purchases.
Additionally, the Twitter Coins purchase option will appear in the feature list on the left side of the Twitter page.
Currently, it is known that Twitter Coins can be used for a tipping function, and below are the reward lists discovered by Jane Manchun Wong. Prices range from 1 Twitter Coin to 5,000 Twitter Coins.
Furthermore, rewards must accumulate to at least $50 before they can be claimed, and they will be in fiat currency.
