No posts until ETH hits a new high! An Ethereum enthusiast's Twitter account was suspended for two weeks, and now boldly declares: No new high, no more tweets.
Yesterday on 1/19, Ethereum reached a historic new high, breaking the previous high curse that had lasted for almost three years. Anthony Sassano, a well-known Ethereum developer, had previously stated that he would not tweet again until Ethereum broke its all-time high. Therefore, he finally broke his silence. However, it is embarrassing that today, amidst a comprehensive market correction, Ethereum once again fell below the $1,400 mark.

Unable to Tweet for Almost Two Weeks
Twitter KOL and well-known Ethereum developer Anthony Sassano stated on January 7th that he would not tweet again until Ether broke its all-time high.
I will not be tweeting again until $ETH hits all time high.
Send it.

In early January, Ether rose from $720 on January 2nd to a peak of $1,291 on the 7th, showing signs of breaking the three-year high pressure. Perhaps Sassano felt confident that Ether would hit a new high within hours, hence the tweet.
Bumpy Road to Ethereum's New High
However, Ether took several days to break its all-time high. During this time, Sassano could only retweet others' posts for entertainment until the 19th, when Ether reached a high of $1,440 on Coinbase, setting a new all-time high according to The Block's research director Larry.
Next Goal: $10,000
After enduring the pain of being unable to tweet for nearly two weeks, Sassano returned from his ordeal, receiving congratulations from the crypto community. He tweeted:
From starting with rubbish tweets to evolving into amusing and unbelievable moments with various memes, this is not just my story, but everyone's. To all Ethereum enthusiasts, Ether has returned to its all-time high after 1,102 days. This is what you deserve. The next goal is $10,000. Love you all.
What started as a throwaway tweet ended up turning into an incredibly fun movement with amazing memes.
This wasn't about me โ this was about all of you.
To all the Ethereans โ $ETH is back at all time high after 1102 days โ you fucking deserve this.
$10k next.
I love you all.

Sassano was already well-known in the crypto Twitter community, and became even more prominent after the tweet betting incident. Data platform Dune Analytics even created a tracking chart named after Sassano for his next goal - $10,000.
Ether Continues to Retrace after Reaching All-Time High
Unfortunately, Ether's performance did not keep the community happy for long. After reaching a new high on the 19th, the price continued to decline, reaching $1,255 before the deadline. Sassano stated that he was not too upset as he could at least speak on Twitter. But as a loyal Ethereum enthusiast, he couldn't help but ask:
Why has everyone sold the future of finance?
Why are people selling the future of france
โ sassal.eth ๐ฆ๐๐ผ (@sassal0x) January 20, 2021
Note: Sassano intentionally wrote "Finance" as "France" as part of a meme.
Sassano continues to urge on Twitter that "Ethereum is money," and reflects on how during the 2014 ICO, one Bitcoin could be exchanged for 2,000 Ethers, now only 26.1 Ethers can be exchanged.
As Ether's trend remains pessimistic, Sassano decided to make a significant decision: "I will not tweet again until Ether reaches a new all-time high." Sassano is very active in the crypto Twitter community, and he clearly cannot bear the pain of being unable to tweet again. He concluded by saying that he was just joking.
