The Clash Between Huang Licheng and ZachXBT: Formosa Finance Scandal
In June 2022, ZachXBT published a lengthy article titled "22,000 ETH Stolen, Over a Dozen Projects Failed: The Story of Big Brother Huang."
The article detailed Huang Licheng's involvement in multiple projects in the cryptocurrency circle that ended in failure, with the most notable being the suspicious fund misappropriation at "Formosa Finance." Investors in Formosa Finance included Huang Licheng and Wilson Huang, the founder of Steaker. The advisory team boasted prominent figures such as Huang Licheng and Lin Zhichen, the chairman of AppWorks and the general manager of Taiwan Mobile.
In ZachXBT's elaborate exposé, after analyzing the flow of funds, Huang Licheng vehemently protested, stating that he would pursue defamation lawsuits against false information.
Today, ZachXBT's one-year deadline for Huang Licheng's accusations has just passed. Throughout this lengthy process, Huang Licheng had tried to persuade ZachXBT to delete the article by offering support:

Huang Licheng pointed out that the investigative article published by ZachXBT a year ago had damaged his reputation. Therefore, he has filed a defamation lawsuit against ZachXBT in the Texas District Court, USA. He stated:
I have always believed that the accusations made against me in the article are unfounded. I look forward to proving in court that ZachXBT has unlawfully defamed me.
I have consistently maintained that the allegations in his article are false. I look forward to proving through the lawsuit that @ZachXBT unlawfully defamed me.

ZachXBT Posts to Raise Legal Funds
ZachXBT believes that Huang Licheng's accusations of defamation are baseless and merely an attempt to stifle freedom of speech. As a result, he has decided to fight back and defend freedom of speech.
ZachXBT has opened a new address 0x…96624 for public donations, accepting all EVM chains, primarily stablecoins. The funds will be used for legal expenses, and any remaining funds will be proportionally refunded to donors.
He stated:
This is a classic David and Goliath story. My understanding is that Machi is wealthy, but I am not, and he is trying to silence me by throwing money around. I am seeking your help so that the truth can prevail. It's sickening to see this situation, but I knew it would happen one day because sometimes telling the truth makes people hate you. I have always tried to maintain objectivity in my research, making the data and historical records self-evident.
1/ It’s unfortunate I have to make this thread but I am being sued by MachiBigBrother for an article I published in June 2022.
Today Machi filed the defamation lawsuit. The lawsuit is baseless and an attempt to chill free speech. I intend to fight back & defend free speech. pic.twitter.com/anVY6zXU5a
