American ABC television reality show host Kevin O'Leary, also known as "Mr. Wonderful" from Shark Tank, stated in a talk show that his cryptocurrency investment allocation was planned to increase from 3% at the beginning of the year to 7% by the end of the year, but has already reached 10%. His investments include Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the stablecoin USDC. In addition, he has invested in cryptocurrency-related companies, believing that cryptocurrency investments should be diversified.

Kevin O'Leary stated on the cryptocurrency web show CryptoCurrency Talk on Thursday that he owns a lot of crypto assets that continue to appreciate in value. Many people now believe that the cryptocurrency game is almost over, like with Ethereum, "but I disagree," he said. He mentioned there are many other options, whether it's Solana or others, "diversification is key if you invest like I do."

Two years ago, Kevin O'Leary referred to Bitcoin as "garbage" during an interview on CNBC.

He explained his past comments by stating that he bought his first Bitcoin in 2017, but at that time, there was no way to convert Bitcoin into other tokens or currencies. He invested in many companies that complied with regulatory agencies, and as a result, faced immense pressure, even being asked to step away from cryptocurrencies because they were very concerned about becoming a "lightning rod."

Since then, Kevin O'Leary has changed his tune and openly expressed acceptance of cryptocurrencies. In August of this year, he became a spokesperson for the cryptocurrency exchange FTX, praising Ether as an asset that is about to deflate. In October, he also publicly stated that his cryptocurrency allocation has exceeded the amount of gold he holds.
