Thank you all for the warm, caring, and touching words, and most importantly, for keeping this ship flying. I am receiving too many messages now, and I am unable to reply to each one individually. So, I will say a few words here.

For me, this is definitely a tough day, going through this unfamiliar process with a complete (12-hour) time difference, and spending most of the day in court without being able to use my phone.

I wrote this tweet at 4 a.m. In addition to all the other lengthy legal documents I have to review, I really did not have time to prepare an internal memo in advance. I think our communications team has done a good job. I will not repeat what has already been said.

Binance founder Zhao Changpeng CZ resigns: Richard Teng to be appointed new CEO

I just want to say that I am proud of the work you have done today, in the past, and for the future.

Binance will be fine. I will have to endure some pain, but I will survive. Although there will be some structural changes, we will get through this. Looking back in a few years, this may not be a bad thing. In any case, I need to take a break. Now I understand, you need to continue working hard, don't complain that I am lazy.

To lighten the mood a bit, this famous phrase/clip from "Star Trek" (2009) popped into my head. "I need everyone to continue performing at a high level." If you haven't seen it, it's a good movie.

Please help Richard Teng transition into his new role. We will meet at the town hall, where I will say a few words and then hand over to Richard.
