Brother Huang Li-Cheng Explains: The Treasure Island Financial Incident

Brother Huang Li-Cheng stated that in June 2022, Zach published an article alleging that Brother Huang Li-Cheng embezzled funds from Treasure Island Financial. He refuted these accusations, stating that Zach did not provide any evidence and claimed that he had made efforts to resolve the issue. He felt judged by the Twitter crypto community and emphasized that he can only receive a fair trial in court.

"Only in court can I receive a fair trial," Brother Huang Li-Cheng stated.

Zach claimed that Brother Huang Li-Cheng embezzled 22,000 ETH from the Formosa Financial Taiwan blockchain project in 2018 and launched over ten failed pump & dump tokens and NFT projects. Brother Huang Li-Cheng refuted this claim.

Brother Huang Li-Cheng explained that he did not have access to the multisig that transferred ETH from the Treasure Island Financial treasury and that no receiving addresses belonged to him. He clarified that the signatories for the multisig were Treasure Island Financial's CEO Ryan Terriblini and CTO Lorne Lantz, the latter of whom is now the founder of Breadcrumbs App, with Zach being an investor in the app.

Brother Huang Li-Cheng Explains: Cream Finance

Regarding the allegations related to Cream Finance, Brother Huang Li-Cheng clarified that there were actually two, not three, instances of exploit events.

He stated that he handed Cream Finance over to a highly respected team in 2020, who took control of Cream Finance before the exploit events in August and October 2021. He returned to the protocol in February 2022 to compensate those affected by the exploit events.

Brother Huang Li-Cheng Explains: Squid DAO

Regarding Squid DAO, Brother Huang Li-Cheng denied any speculation, dumping, or improper behavior. He stated that he was involved in Squid DAO and supported a proposal to refund DAO funds in January 2022, resulting in over 12,000 ETH being returned to Squid DAO participants.
