Developing hardware wallets, promoting green mining, Jack Dorsey once again saves Bitcoin: Twitter will eventually integrate the Lightning Network.

On Twitter, founder Jack Dorsey directly expressed the platform's determination to integrate with the Bitcoin Lightning Network. Although no specific plans were disclosed, he stated, "It's just a matter of time."

Recent Strong Push for Bitcoin Infrastructure

While there are already numerous Bitcoin wallet developers in the market, Jack Dorsey announced on 6/4 that Square plans to launch a Bitcoin hardware wallet. The Cash App will also be part of the solution, but it might operate as a separate app from Square.

In the midst of the turmoil caused by Elon Musk's statements on the cryptocurrency market, Jack Dorsey seems to have increased his efforts in promoting Bitcoin.

He stated when announcing the launch of the Bitcoin hardware wallet, "Bitcoin is for everyone." Today, he tweeted on Twitter:

We are speaking the same language, and that is Bitcoin.

Moreover, due to the recent controversy surrounding the energy consumption of Bitcoin in the past month, Square has also invested $5 million to collaborate with Bitcoin infrastructure developer Blockstream.

They plan to establish an open-source solar-powered Bitcoin mining facility at one of Blockstream's locations. It will be a Bitcoin mining facility that operates 100% on renewable energy. They will also disclose information such as "operating costs" and "return on investment" to the public in the future.
