FTX and FTX.US announced today (8) a long-term partnership agreement with NBA star Stephen Curry. Curry will receive equity in FTX Trading Limited (FTX) and serve as a brand ambassador for FTX. In addition, a portion of Curry's salary will be paid in cryptocurrency.

Stephen Curry is the star point guard for the NBA's Golden State Warriors, leading the team to three NBA championships and earning two regular season MVP awards. He is also known for his philanthropy and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Under the partnership agreement, Curry will serve as a brand ambassador for FTX, leveraging his influence to enhance FTX's brand visibility and reach new audiences.

FTX has already entered into partnership agreements this year with NFL stars Tom Brady and Trevor Lawrence. Stephen Curry's involvement further enhances FTX's credibility as a trusted platform for buying, trading cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and other digital assets.

Furthermore, FTX has pledged to donate $500,000 annually to Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry's Eat.Learn.Play non-profit foundation, and the two parties will collaborate on charitable initiatives.

Curry stated:

"The world of crypto investing used to be quite mysterious, but FTX is making it increasingly accessible and removing the fear associated with cryptocurrencies. FTX and I share a common goal in giving back to the community in meaningful ways. I can't wait to see what we can accomplish through our partnership."

Eat.Learn.Play aims to assist children in communities, providing them with a happy and healthy childhood through nutrition, education, and sports education. The foundation was established in 2019 and has already donated over 17 million meals last year, with plans to further aid in educational learning.

"After speaking with Curry in person, we believe he is the perfect fit to be FTX's brand ambassador. In addition to his discipline and competitive professional attitude, his ongoing contributions to the charitable sector make him one of the most successful individuals, regardless of the field. Curry's core values align perfectly with FTX, whether it's in basketball, business, or investments. I am excited to collaborate with Curry and make a positive impact on more people in the world," summarized FTX founder and CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.
