Bored Ape Yacht Club launches mobile game "Apes vs. Mutants"! A light-hearted game that anyone can play for free.

Yuga Labs, the NFT studio behind Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), launched a mobile game called Apes vs. Mutants on the app store today (21). Players can enjoy the game without owning any Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs. The game is a casual piece similar to the popular mobile game "Archero."

The game was launched on the mobile app store at 8 a.m. today. It was jointly developed by Yuga Labs and River Games, and is available for free download to all users.

Upon opening the game, players must choose to join either the Apes or Mutants faction.

After making a selection, players will receive an initial character and can use this character to defeat the opposing faction in a series of levels. Below is a gameplay video:

This game is quite similar to the popular mobile game "Archery Legend" from some time ago, where each main level consists of several sub-levels that need to be cleared. Clearing each sub-level will grant ability enhancements.

The rewards earned upon completing levels can be used for upgrades or to purchase other unique monkeys.

According to Bored Ape Yacht Club's Twitter announcement, anyone can play as a visitor, but only Bored Ape or Mutant holders registered in the Bored Ape Discord group can receive additional rewards.

Last December, Bored Ape Yacht Club officially partnered with The Sandbox developer Animoca Brands, with plans to launch a play-to-earn blockchain game in the second quarter of this year.
