After sparking controversy with its new project, the Japanese NFT project Azuki released a recent statement on social media and also introduced intriguing green beans. What exactly is the mystery behind this new offering?

Azuki Team's Latest Statement

According to an announcement by Azuki, the official statement mentions that the original goal of Azuki Elementals was to foster community growth, attract more people to join, expand the Azuki universe, and lay the foundation for decentralized intellectual property rights.

Based on this aspiration, the team aimed to create characters that align with the essence of Azuki while introducing new elements. As a result, Azuki Elementals feature four elements, along with the addition of animal and child forms. However, upon the official launch of Azuki Elementals, it became challenging for the community to distinguish between them and Azuki.

In response to this, the team expressed that they have always tried to operate the universe based on the original Azuki series, but this was not clearly communicated to the community.

Therefore, the team also clearly stated in the announcement that due to Azuki's status, Azuki holders will always enjoy the highest priority and preferential allocation in future rewards, airdrops, and experiences.

Mysterious Green Beans by Azuki Appear

In addition to the above, the official release of a mysterious green bean video was made public, although its purpose was not specified.

However, crypto KOL Wave discovered that the smart contract for the green beans was also deployed by the deployer of Elemental Beans. Upon reverse compiling the contract, it was found to be related to Azuki's main contract, with a total supply limit of 10,000 and a royalty mechanism.

However, the actual use of the green beans and what they will yield is yet to be revealed by the Azuki team.
