The Sandbox collaborates with gaming giant Ubisoft; classic Rabbids to enter the metaverse.

The Sandbox announces a new partnership where Ubisoft's famous IP, Rabbids, will join The Sandbox metaverse. Ubisoft will also own land to provide interactive experiences.

Specific Collaboration Details with Ubisoft

Within The Sandbox, creators can use two free tools, VoxEdit and Game Maker, to create voxel characters and objects, as well as develop interactive experiences. The collaboration with Ubisoft allows creators to integrate Ubisoft's intellectual property (IP) into their personal creations.

Guillaume Mammi, representing Ubisoft, stated: "We are excited to bring the Rabbids into The Sandbox community, allowing players to integrate and create interactive experiences with our game IP. We can't wait to see how people will create the world of the Rabbids. With the arrival of the Rabbids, The Sandbox is clearly a new and fun gaming playground. For Ubisoft, it's also a great opportunity for the brand to enter the metaverse."

The following video showcases the voxel characters of the Rabbids currently being developed by Ubisoft, which will also be visible on the land owned by Ubisoft in The Sandbox in the future.

With Ubisoft's inclusion, The Sandbox now has over 200 IP collaborations, including The Walking Dead, Snoop Dogg, Adidas, Warner Music Group, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Richie Hawtin, The Smurfs, Care Bears, Atari, ZEPETO, CryptoKitties, and more.
