Mirror, the on-chain creative platform, upgrades its "writing NFT" feature! Customize covers and view articles directly in wallets.

The online writing platform Mirror launched the "Writing NFT" feature last year, allowing users to mint their articles into multiple NFTs on the OP Mainnet (Optimism) for readers to collect. A year later, Mirror has updated this feature to introduce "Writing NFT 2.0", which not only includes more customization options but also allows users to read the NFT article content directly in their wallets.

Mirror Writing NFT 2.0 Feature Introduction

In this 2.0 update, the previous writing NFT feature has been optimized and customized options have been added. The following are the main updates:

  1. Customizable Article Entry Cover: Users can upload their own image as the article cover when completing the article and minting it as a writing NFT by clicking Customize.

  2. Open Edition: Previously, when minting writing NFTs, users needed to set the quantity of NFTs. However, now they can choose Open Edition, which has no quantity limit.

  3. Read in Wallet: Collected writing NFTs can now be read directly in the wallet.

The above are the new contents of Writing NFT 2.0. Although this feature has been launched for over a year, the official team still considers it to be in its early stages. In order to continue expanding users, creators currently do not need to pay Gas fees when using the writing NFT feature. Collectors only need to pay a small platform fee and minimal L2 Gas fees in addition to the fees set by the article itself.
