Introduction to ESNX, the Second Generation of Elysium Shell
Created by Taiwanese digital artists, the second generation of "Elysium Shell," known as ESNX, was released in November. The storyline continues from the first generation, where characters' consciousness transforms into robots, appearing in front of all NFT players.
Aside from maintaining the high-quality mecha designs, the team delivered on their promise made at the project's launch. By the end of November, they successfully completed the integration and took a bold approach by providing loose parts instead of complete mechas to owners. This move aims to transfer the experience of assembling toys into the blockchain world. Owners will be responsible for assembling their mechas, and the team will also provide 3D files that meet industry standards to owners who have completed the assembly.
ESNX Assembly Mechanism Explanation
The team aimed to bring the experience of assembling toys into the blockchain world, allowing all owners to freely determine the appearance of their mechas.
Mecha Assembly
Players who wish to participate in assembly can freely purchase parts from the secondary market. Once they have collected the "head, body, hands, feet, and back accessories," they can proceed to the official website for assembly.
The team also thoughtfully introduced a simulator that allows you to try assembling your favorite mecha without purchasing any parts beforehand. After assembling, you can then proceed to the secondary market for purchases.

Artist Code Airdrop Date TBD
Due to the implementation of a deflationary mechanism, the second-generation collaborative artwork, also known as Artist Code, may have unreleased possibilities. To thank the community for their support in assembling mechas, an airdrop event will be conducted at a later date. Owners of the Invader, Guardian, and Oracle mecha races will have the opportunity to receive the remaining Artist Code airdrop.

ESNX Features
A New Experience for Digital Collectibles
While traditional digital collectibles emphasize their attributes and roadmap, the team believes that NFTs, as a new creative medium, hold more potential. Therefore, even when the first generation was released in April, the team hinted at the arrival of the second generation. The fusion mechanism they announced back then, when viewed globally, offers a unique and creative NFT gameplay. By implementing clever ideas within smart contracts, the collectibles themselves can have gaming elements. With the participation of a large community, a unique NFT collecting experience has been created.
During the first phase, many community members actively exchanged ideas in the official discussion forum to complete their parts, creating a spectacle even during bear markets. Subsequently, they received much feedback, with many acknowledging the sense of camaraderie experienced here, which they had not felt in other communities.
In the second phase of assembly, the creative rights of the artwork were handed back to the owners. The team is only responsible for creating assembly tools and parts, while the final appearance of the artwork will be determined by the collectors themselves. This approach aligns with the motto of Elysium Shell: "Unchain Your Creativity," aiming for everyone to unleash their creativity in the Web 3 world and leave their mark on the blockchain.
Paving the Way for the Metaverse, One of the Few Projects Providing 3D Files
The team has crafted characters according to industry standards and will provide three types of 3D files: GLB, VRM, and FBX, for creators and developers to use in various metaverse scenarios. To adhere to the open spirit of Web 3, the released 3D files, like the NFT works, can be used for commercial purposes by owners. The team mentioned that ESNX owners will have priority access to the 3D files, and they plan to release the files for the first-generation works to their owners next year.

A New Collection Browsing Mode, Animated Collectibles for a More Immersive Experience
The Elysium Shell team has revolutionized the presentation on OpenSea. When browsing on OpenSea, as shown in the image below, the artwork breaks away from the traditional static display and appears dynamically. Owners can select different action modes for their mechas while browsing, adding more interactivity and building anticipation for when the 3D files are released, showcasing the mechas in different metaverse scenes. Once the 3D model of the first-generation character is completed, it will follow the presentation mode of ESNX!
Real-Time Character Generation System, Bridging People and Blockchain
In the past, NFT projects almost always employed the concept of "pre-generation" during the image creation phase, whether the features on the artwork were randomly assembled or if there was randomness upon unboxing. However, when you enter the ESNX simulator to find parts and attempt assembly, you can imagine the significant differences in mecha appearance when assembly is open, as the mecha's appearance will only be confirmed at the time of assembly. Therefore, the real-time generation system developed in collaboration with Ctor Lab can rapidly generate 3D images after interaction between the owner and the smart contract. Owners can directly view the selected mecha model on OpenSea.
Those familiar with gaming may recognize the traditional online game's paper doll system, which generates characters based on player needs in real-time. Although not a new concept, the technology to receive instructions and swiftly produce NFTs through smart contracts is truly an innovative approach for the industry. The entertainment provided by this assembly also brings people closer to blockchain technology.
Adopting a New Smart Contract Standard to Enhance Experience and Reduce Fees
Participants in ESNX will interact multiple times with smart contracts. Therefore, Elysium Shell collaborates with the Taiwanese team Ctor Lab and introduces the new smart contract standard ERC1155Delta. Compared to other common smart contracts, ERC1155Delta significantly reduces gas fees, enabling everyone to assemble more easily.
