Yuga Labs emphasized in a press release that the collaboration between the two brands aligns well with values such as community, free-spiritedness, and casual luxury, embodying the essence of both brands:
We have partnered with BAPE to reimagine iconic designs, eager to best interpret the fusion and impact of Harajuku and BAYC.
It is understood that holders of BAYC and BAPE's metaverse brand BAPETAVERSE NFTs will have exclusive early access to a limited-edition series of clothing and accessories.
Furthermore, this series will debut at ApeFest on November 4, where fans of BAYC can purchase in person or online, while BAPETAVERSE NFT holders can make their purchases online.
The BAPE metaverse account, BAPETAVERSE, expressed:
We are delighted to collaborate with top Web3 teams, and this series will soon be available for sale at BAPE STORE physical outlets worldwide and on the BAPE official website.

According to the announcement on the official website, this year's ApeFest will feature more exploration of the city, community, and immersive virtual experiences, departing from the music-focused theme of last year. With the Hong Kong Fintech Week also taking place during the same period, Bored Apes are expected to be seen all around Hong Kong.
It is reported that users holding BAYC or MAYC will be able to attend for free with a guest and enjoy the festivities together.
Prior to this, Yuga Labs announced its gradual withdrawal from the NFT marketplace OpenSea last month following the platform's change from mandatory to optional creator fee collection, stating that their actions were in support of NFT creators' rights and against market compliance.
