"Blockchain detective ZachXBT persuaded to delete posts! Brother Ma Ji Huang Licheng: Delete negative articles, and join Nouns proposal to fund you"

Twitter celebrity sleuth ZachXBT, who has previously exposed numerous scandals in the cryptocurrency community, is highly regarded by the community; his actions have also caught the attention of the NFT community Nouns, who are currently voting on whether to fund ZachXBT. This sponsorship initiative has, however, drawn the attention of Huang Licheng, a "brother" of a past "exposed individual"...

The Showdown between Machi Big Brother and ZachXBT: Formosa Finance Scandal

In June this year, ZachXBT published a lengthy article titled "22,000 ETH Stolen, Over Ten Projects Failed: The Story of Machi Big Brother," detailing Huang Licheng's involvement in multiple failed projects in the crypto community. The most notorious case among them is the Formosa Finance scandal. Formosa Finance was founded in early 2018 by newly elected Keelung City Mayor Xie Guoliang and foreigner Ryan Terribilini. Investors included Huang Licheng and Steaker founder Wilson Huang Weixuan. The advisory team was star-studded, with members like Huang Licheng and Lin Zhichen, Chairman of AppWorks and General Manager of Taiwan Mobile. After raising 44,000 ETH, some funds were mysteriously transferred, leading to a collapse in coin prices, and the team eventually ceased operations. The parties involved have been blaming each other, and to this day, there is no unified explanation.

In ZachXBT's extensive expose and analysis of the flow of funds, Huang Licheng vehemently protested and threatened to sue for defamation over what he claims to be false information.

NFT Community Nouns Votes to Fund ZachXBT with 100 ETH

A proposal from the NFT community Nouns suggests that acts of kindness like ZachXBT's are crucial for the industry and proposes providing 100 ETH to his donation address.

Currently, 125 Nouns members have voted in favor, with 20 against. The voting will conclude at 7 a.m. on December 8th, Taiwan time.

Huang Licheng Lobbies for Deletion of Posts to Support Funding

From Huang Licheng's address machibigbrother.eth, it is seen that he owns two Noun NFTs. He expressed to ZachXBT on Twitter that it seems he can fund ZachXBT. He then urged ZachXBT to delete those false accusations made by him and publicly retract his statements.

However, ZachXBT only replied, "Thank you, I don't need your vote."

Some netizens responded to Huang Licheng, asking if having enough votes can change governance decisions. Huang Licheng sarcastically replied, "It seems ZachXBT is willing to take this embezzled ETH." This implies that ZachXBT accuses him of misappropriating funds but is willing to accept his financial support.

Recently, scandals have been rampant in the cryptocurrency community, and the media often faces pressure from businesses to edit and alter content. Although ZachXBT accepts donations from decentralized organizations on the chain, input from relevant stakeholders still occurs. On-chain governance and ecosystems remain human-controlled and capitalist societies, just becoming more transparent.
