Instagram's NFT Sharing Feature

Instagram has announced that users will be able to link their digital wallets to select which NFT collections to share. Security measures will be in place to ensure the safety of the wallets.

From the released images, users can see the NFT collections in their linked wallets, including the series name and collection title. Users can share their collections, and the system will automatically tag the NFT author. In the shared NFT images, there is also a verification mark-like icon at the top right corner.

Instagram also emphasizes that there will be no fees charged for these actions of releasing and sharing NFTs.

Support for Multiple Chains and Wallets

Instagram states that they support blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon, with plans for Flow and Solana in the future. As for wallets, they support Rainbow, MetaMask, TrustWallet, and will also include Coinbase Wallet, Dapper Flow wallet, and Phantom Solana wallet in the future.

They also announced support for third-party wallets, including Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, and Flow's Dapper Wallet. Currently, NFTs eligible for sharing or publishing must be on Ethereum, Polygon, or Flow, and no fees will be charged for using these features.

Following this announcement, the price of FLOW surged. According to CoinGecko's data, there was a 24-hour increase of 36.5%.

If the feature is available in your region, you can find Digital Collectibles in your profile settings, link your wallet, and start using the related features after signing.
