Axie Infinity Originator Program | Axie can be played in up to 12 new games

In order to give Axies NFT more utility, its development team Sky Mavis has collaborated with multiple game studios through the Builder Program, allowing Axies to appear in various types of games. Today, Sky Mavis announced 12 gaming projects within the program, covering a wide range of genres. Let's take a look at some of the exciting games to look forward to!

Axie Infinity Builders Program

This program aims to reward developers and teams who help the Axie Infinity community create gaming experiences and tools on the platform. Selected teams will not only receive at least $10,000 worth of AXS tokens to fund their projects but also technical and game development assistance.

Below is a brief introduction to the first batch of 12 gaming projects that were selected:

1. Inter the Dungeon

6. Lunacia Cup

7. Run Axie Run!

In Run Axie Run, players operate their Axies endlessly exploring a game scene similar to Axie Infinity. Apart from collecting resources, players may encounter enemies trying to obstruct their path!

8. AxiePop

AxiePop is a match-three style puzzle game where players attack enemies by eliminating three Axies of the same color. The game is free to play, but players need to own Axies to earn rewards.

9. Axie Infinity War

Axie Infinity War is a 2.5D platform battle royale game where 10 Axies compete against each other, and the last one standing receives rewards.

10. Axie Brawl

Axie Brawl is a MOBA-style competitive game where each player controls an Axie divided into two teams competing against each other. The game tests players' cooperative abilities to achieve victory through strategy.

11. Mech Infinity

Mech Infinity is a battle royale game based on the Axie Infinity universe where Axies operate mechs called Axie Mechs to participate in battles and earn rewards like SLP, AXS, and NFTs. Axie Mechs are the core of the game and have various attributes like insects, water, birds, reptiles, etc.

12. Across Lunacia

Across Lunacia is a pixel-style platform adventure game where players can play for free with Axies.

The above are the current gaming projects in the Builders Program. Although they are still in the development stage, some games may be officially launched in the coming months. Through this program, Axie's use cases are no longer limited to the world of Axie Infinity, which is expected to bring a more positive and sustainable impact on the overall ecosystem and token price, but only time will tell.
