Whitestone Gallery, based in Tokyo, Japan, has issued a scam alert related to NFTs, warning that unauthorized individuals are falsely claiming to be associated with Whitestone Gallery and selling NFTs of renowned artist Yayoi Kusama.

White Stone Gallery: Beware of NFT Scam

White Stone Gallery has reported that there are malicious scams using the name of the gallery. The gallery has filed a report with the police and urges customers to be cautious.

The statement mentioned that an organization called "Japan NFT Culture Association" plans to sell NFTs of Yayoi Kusama's artworks, claiming that they are being held by White Stone Gallery. White Stone Gallery clarified that they have no affiliation with the organization and the certificate presented by the organization is forged.

JNCA is set to release NFTs priced at 1.2 ETH, claiming that there is a chance to obtain a physical Yayoi Kusama artwork worth two hundred million Japanese yen from a blind box:

JNCA's Twitter account was created in March 2022, with less than six thousand followers, and has not responded to the allegations made by White Stone Gallery.
