The social media app Instagram allows users to share moments of their lives through photos, stories, and following features, enabling them to interact with and stay updated on the content shared by the accounts they follow. With the growing popularity of NFT collections and auctions, a new community app called Context has emerged, offering similar functionalities for users to easily observe NFT trading activities of others.

What is Context?

Context was founded by former Stripe software engineer Luke Miles and Adam Ludwin, co-founder of Pogo Financial, with the goal of creating a community-driven Web 3.0 NFT social platform.

Features of Context

Through Context, users can simply enter an Ethereum wallet address in the search bar to see the NFTs recently acquired, bought, and minted by that wallet user. If users wish to monitor the user's behavior in the NFT market long-term, they can press "Follow," and Context's homepage will display all transaction information of the followed users.

Context has curated a selection of collectors and artists. By clicking on Collectors or Artists, users can see the trading behavior of these individuals. If interested in a particular user, they can choose to follow them directly. Additionally, Context has a category specifically for "Punk Holders," where the transaction activities of any wallet address holding CryptoPunks are displayed. Those who own CryptoPunks are usually well-known and have substantial assets, and to some extent, this category can be seen as an indicator of whale activity.

Each post reveals which NFTs are being traded, and Context integrates data from NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea, Foundation, and Rarible to show the Floor Price of that NFT collection. If users wish to make a purchase, they can simply click "Buy Now" or "Collect One," and the webpage will automatically redirect to OpenSea's trading interface, eliminating the need to search.

Another unique feature is Curate, which functions similarly to Twitter's retweet and Facebook's share feature. Users can share messages they wish to showcase on their homepage for followers to see.

Context is currently in the testing phase and will introduce more chain data and features in the future. However, it is important to note that creating an account on this website and having an exclusive tracking list requires linking a wallet and providing an email address, posing a slight risk of personal data leakage. Users should be cautious of potential risks before utilizing the website's full functionality.
