Brand NFT Headquarters! Introduction to NFT Market Birka
As a unique NFT trading market, upon entering the Birka homepage, you can see multiple NFT projects from famous brands.
Whether you are looking for NFTs from sports brands like Adidas, Nike, automobile brands like Porsche, Hyundai, or fashion brands like Tiffany & Co., Coach, Birka can quickly meet users' needs. Currently, there are over 100 brand NFTs listed on Birka.
In addition to this feature, Birka also provides the following functions to enhance user experience during usage and transactions:
- Integration with other NFT markets: In addition to purchasing NFTs listed on Birka, Birka also integrates NFTs listed on other NFT markets such as OpenSea, Blur, providing users with more choices and better product depth during transactions.
- Centralized verification to prevent malicious projects: NFT projects searchable on Birka have been verified to avoid instances of falsely listed projects. Therefore, users won't encounter multiple search results when looking for specific projects.
- Advanced search function under development: On Birka, users can search by industry category such as fashion, automotive, and function, making it convenient for users to find specific projects for observation and comparison.
Apart from using ETH for purchases, Birka also plans to support credit card purchases in the future and allow login via email, providing users with more diverse options.
Additionally, beyondClub has recently launched a blog in Japanese, regularly producing brand NFT research reports and summarizing the latest information for readers interested in such news.
beyondClub Founder Yuki Interview: Where did the idea for Birka come from?
During the WebX conference held this week, there was an opportunity to interview beyondClub founder Yuki and ask several key questions related to Birka.
Firstly, why launch an NFT market with brands as the selling point?
Yuki stated that for newcomers unfamiliar with the crypto industry, NFTs released by these major brands might be their first step into this industry. However, when users use large NFT markets like OpenSea, not only are the categories too complex, but searching for specific projects often leads to many false or scam results. This is where Birka comes in to address this pain point and create a more brand-friendly trading environment.
So, as a developer of brand NFTs, which is Yuki's favorite brand NFT?
Yuki hesitated between two answers, one being Nike Swoosh and the other being Lacoste UNDW3, but ultimately chose Lacoste as Nike's project is not globally accessible.
Yuki mentioned that besides launching the Crocodile PFP last year, Lacoste has focused on community engagement activities this year, selecting users with high loyalty to provide rewards for experiential activities. This sets it apart from other projects that only allow buying and selling after launch.
Regarding whether it is a good time to buy Lacoste's NFTs now?
Yuki believes it depends on whether you like the brand or not, rather than the timing of the release.
"If you like Lacoste, I don't think it's too late, especially since the rewards are all about Lacoste. In fact, I think it's a great way to explore the world of NFTs, starting with brands you like," Yuki said.
Finally, Yuki was asked about his thoughts on the NFT world in the coming years?
Using music as an example, Yuki explained that the term NFT will gradually disappear.
"Non-Fungible Token sounds too confusing, just like we don't say this music is an MP3, using a file type to refer to it."
Moreover, Yuki believes that in the future, people will become more accustomed to using NFTs, whether acquired during events or provided by brands. However, while experiencing digital assets more frequently, people won't realize they are using NFTs but will naturally integrate them into their lives.
