The global sports and apparel brand Adidas has launched an exclusive collaboration sneaker, the Adidas Originals Campus 00s, with the renowned 20-year-old digital artist FEWOCiOUS. The sneakers will be released through NFT tokens that can be redeemed for physical sports shoes.

Three-Stage Sale, NFT Holders to Receive Discounted Price Upon Purchase
Yesterday, sports brand adidas Originals announced its collaboration with the next-generation digital artist FEWOCiOUS, releasing a series of groundbreaking physical and digital products that explore art, culture, creativity, and the Web3 space.
The collection, named "Trefoil Flower," will release 4,500 Trefoil Flower mint passes NFT on June 22 via the OpenSea marketplace. NFT holders will be able to redeem a pair of FEWOCiOUS-designed Adidas Originals Campus 00s sneakers for free.
According to Decrypt's report, individuals who previously held related NFTs such as adidas "Decos," "Alts," and FEWOCiOUS x FewoWorld: Paint NFT will receive a discounted price of 0.2-0.25 ETH and will have priority in minting Trefoil Flower before the third-stage public sale.
This also marks Adidas' first release of a sneaker embedded with an NFC tag for verification and connection to their own NFT.
Meanwhile, competitor Puma has also joined the NFT trend, collaborating with NBA star LeMelo Ball to release limited edition sneakers featuring the NFT project Gutter Cat Gang logo, set to launch at the end of June with an NFT redemption price of $175.
Who is FEWOCiOUS?
FEWOCiOUS, born Victor Langlois, is a highly respected member of the Web3 artist community. With a large following on various social media platforms, his work is known for its vividly wild abstract style, bold aesthetics, and impactful personal experiences. Through his creations, he depicts his life story and experiences as a transgender youth.
According to an official press release by adidas, FEWOCiOUS has viewed adidas footwear as an artistic canvas since the age of 16, and his first official collaboration with adidas took place at the 2022 Miami Basel Art Fair.
FEWOCiOUS was previously featured in a Decrypt interview, where at the age of 18, he auctioned off several art pieces at the international art luxury auction house Christie's for a total of $2.1 million. His works, including "She Makes Me Feel Alive" sold for $6,000 and "Moment i Fell in Love" sold for $25,000, caused quite a stir in the crypto art field at the time.
