The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has officially launched the previously announced NFT "Meta History Museum of War." The initial release will consist of 54 NFTs sold in blind boxes at a price of 0.15 ETH each. The public sale will commence at 00:00 Taiwan time on 3/30.

54 NFTs named after the start of the Ukraine-Russia conflict from 2/24 – 2/26, gradually progressing after 05:45 local time, depicting and recording various conflict events with timestamps, created by multiple artists, details as follows:

  • Supported by NFT platform Fair.xyz
  • Platform supports Ethereum and Polygon blockchains
  • Proceeds go to the digital transformation department's address to support the military and civilians

The purpose of issuing NFTs includes:

  1. Raising funds to support Ukraine
  2. Permanently preserving the true situation of the Ukrainian people through blockchain

Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Alex Bornyakov, stated on Twitter:

Today, information technology, blockchain, and NFTs have become tools to protect the national status and history of Ukraine. With the support of partners, we have launched the NFT War History Museum to rebuild a homeland with modern solutions.

Fair.xyz emphasizes zero Gas wars and fair distribution. According to the official description, Fair.xyz's NFT marketplace platform has deployed relevant technologies that limit Gas sniping and robot ordering, reducing user transaction costs while ensuring fair distribution of NFTs.

It seems that the main focus of this NFT project is on the widespread false news from Russian media after the start of the Ukraine-Russia conflict, as highlighted in the Meta History website title, also echoing its blind box design as mentioned on Twitter:
