Kelly Services is one of the top five global human resources service companies, with 2,600 branches in 39 countries and regions worldwide, including Taiwan, making it a major indicator of global work trends.

Over the past two years, more and more mainstream giants have been entering the world of blockchain. Companies like Walmart and Facebook have shown interest in this technology to improve areas such as supply chains and value transfer. Now, a human resources giant has declared its entry into this arena.

According to a report by Forbes, Kelly Services will be deploying a blockchain-supported recruitment platform with Moonlighting, aiming to streamline internal processes such as securely uploading job seekers' personal information and integrating across various platforms. People often have to repeatedly log in to various websites and applications to complete the application process, which needs improvement.

Moonlighting's CEO and founder, Jeff Tennery, mentioned that Kelly and Moonlighting are collaborating to address this issue so that people can efficiently share their data and get hired. Blockchain is well-suited for this situation, allowing users to control their own data. He further clarified:

The Moonlighting platform is based on the EOSIO public blockchain and does not involve cryptocurrency. It's mainly not for profit.

People in the workforce are seeking "mobile technology," "automated services," and "platform economy," rather than traditional recruitment methods and working conditions of the past few years.

John, Managing Director of Kelly Services, mentioned the significant market opportunities that cooperation between companies will bring. He continued:

We have three business units actively exploring how to leverage the technology Moonlighting has and the business processes we offer to clients and workers to find the best ways for our clients.

According to a survey by KPMG statistics, when asked about the possibility of implementing blockchain in their companies, 41% of respondents said they might use the technology, 31% did not directly answer, and 28% said they are unlikely to implement blockchain.

As reported earlier, countries are gradually embracing this technology, and people's jobs or companies will try to learn to use this technology to address some issues.
